Dylan MarcAurele’s high-camp musical comedy POP OFF, MICHELANGELO! will transfer to the Underbelly Boulevard Soho this May, it has been announced.
POP OFF, MICHELANGELO!, directed by Joe McNeice, returns to London in a revitalised production for a limited 5-week run, following its highly successful season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024 and concert performances at The Other Palace.
A smash hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it received a Popcorn Award Special Mention, MarcAurele and McNeice reunite to take you on a wild ride through Renaissance Italy. POP OFF, MICHELANGELO! is a high-camp musical comedy telling the (somewhat edited) history of two of Italy’s greatest artists, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, as they both race to create the most legendary religious masterpieces.
The production will be directed by Joe McNeice, featuring choreography by Sundeep Saini, musical supervisor & orchestrations by Aron Sood, costume design by Emily Bestow, lighting design by Adam King, casting direction by Sarah-Jane Price, produced by Blair Russell Productions, production management by James Anderton and general managemen by Paul Virides Productions.
POP OFF, MICHELANGELO! is written by Dylan MarcAurele.
POP OFF, MICHELANGELO! will play Underbelly Boulevard Soho, running from 17th May – 22nd June 2025, with tickets on sale now.
