⭐ PIPPIN – LONDON REVIVAL ANNOUNCED FOR UPSTAIRS AT THE GATEHOUSE – CHRISTMAS 2025 ⭐
A new London revival of Stephen Schwartz’s PIPPIN has been announced.
From the same team that brought you You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Road Show, London’s Upstairs at the Gatehouse has announced PIPPIN, the Tony Award-winning musical as their upcoming Christmas show.
A dazzling troupe of travelling performers converge to tell the story of a young prince’s pursuit of purpose. Hypnotised by the glitz and glamour, Pippin chases glory in battle, temptation in love, and power on the throne only to discover that the brighter the bulbs, the darker the shadows. Broadway meets Bognor Regis in this reimagining of Stephen Schwartz’s (Wicked, Godspell) Tony Award-winning classic.
PIPPIN will be directed & choreography byvAmanda Noar (she/her), with associate direction by Isaac Bernier-Doyle (he/him), musical direction by Harry Style (he/him), set & costume design by Hannah Danson (she/they), produced by Annlouise Butt (she/her) for Chromolume, with artwork by Sam Cannon.

PIPPIN has music & lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Roger O. Hirson. Originally Produced on the Broadway stage by Stuart Ostrow, directed on the Broadway stage by Bob Fosse, 2013 Broadway revival directed by Diane Paulus, Theo ending originally conceived in 1998 by Mitch Sebastian. Performed by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
PIPPIN will play Upstairs at the Gatehouse, running from 11th December 2025 – 11th January 2026, with tickets on sale now.
