⭐ PASSION – HOPE MILL THEATRE – FULL CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
Full casting has been announced for the Hope Mill Theatre production of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine’s Passion.
Joining Olivier Award winner and musical theatre icon Ruthie Henshall is Dean John-Wilson as Giorgio, the man who finds himself at the heart of a passionate love affair, alongside Olivier nominated Kelly Price as Clara.
The cast is completed by Adam Robert Lewis, Charlie Waddell, Danny Whitehead, Dalton Harris, Ray Shell, Steve Watts and Tim Walton.
Directed by Sondheim specialist Michael Strassen, with movement direction by Sundeep Saini and musical direction by Yshani Perinpanayagam (LMTO), this encapsulating revival will reenergise the tale of love, sex and obsession.
Passion has music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine. The story was adapted from Ettore Scola’s 1981 film Passione d’Amore, and its source material, Iginio Ugo Tarchetti’s 1869 novel Fosca.
Passion will play the Hope Mill Theatre, running from 5th May – 5th June 2022, with tickets on sale now.
