⭐ OLIVER! REVIVAL ANNOUNCED FOR LEEDS PLAYHOUSE – WINTER 2023 ⭐
A brand-new revival of the beloved Lionel Bart musical Oliver! has been announced for the Leeds Playhouse.
The new production will directed by Leeds Playhouse artistic director and chief executive James Brining as its large-scale winter show for the 2023 festive season.
Full cast and creative team to be announced at a later date.
Lionel Bart’s musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’s classic novel Oliver Twist tells the story of young orphan Oliver as he travels through the dark underbelly of London society.
The Tony and Olivier Award-winning show is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture and is widely hailed as a true theatrical masterpiece.
Featuring the classic songs such as “Food, Glorious Food”, “I’d Do Anything”, “Where Is Love?”, “As Long As He Needs Me” and many more.
Oliver! will play Leeds Playhouse, Quarry Theatre, running from 27th November 2023 – 27th January 2024.
