Full casting has been announced to the world premiere of new musical Killing The Cat.
Molly Lynch (The Last Five Years), Kluane Saunders (Relatively Speaking) and Joaquin Pedro Valdes (The Lion King) join the previously announced Madalena Alberto (Evita) and Tim Rogers (Jesus Christ Superstar) to complete the cast.
Killing The Cat is a new transatlantic collaboration between an Anglo-American writing team and UK and US producers. It will have its world premiere in London this spring, at Riverside Studios.
What happens when you’re falling for someone but don’t share their beliefs? What happens when you’re so sure you’re right you won’t move an inch? Does love stand a chance?
In the heady world of the romantic poets, scientific theories and certainties, can lust and love keep two polar opposites together beyond the first night?
Killing The Cat has a book & lyrics by Warner Brown and music by Joshua Schmidt.
Killing The Cat will be directed by Jenny Eastop, with movement direction by Lucie Pankhurst, set & costume design by Lee Newby, lighting design by Jamie Platt, sound design by Oscar Cotran, musical direction by Billy Bullivant, arrangements by Joshua Schmidt, orchestrations and additional arrangements by Jen Green and casting director Danielle Tarento
