The stage musical adaptation of MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET will be heading to Manchester this Christmas, it has been announced.
Meredith Willson’s MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET – THE MUSICAL will play HOME Manchester this December, in a new production directed by Sara Joyce.
A major New York department store is on the brink of collapse and their upcoming Christmas sale has to be a success. When their Santa quits at the last minute they’re left with a kindhearted stranger who is convinced he’s the real deal to save the day.
But when he is arrested, the fate of Christmas is in the hands of a child called Susan. Can she restore the world’s belief in Santa Claus?
Featuring set & lighting design by Ciaran Bagnall, choreography by Kevin Turner and casting direction by Nadine Rennie.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET – THE MUSICAL is based on the 1947 film and has a book, music & lyrics by Meredith Willson, who is best known for writing the Tony Award-winning musical The Music Man.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET – THE MUSICAL will play HOME Manchester, playing from 6th – 31st December 2024, with tickets on sale now.
