⭐ MARK FEEHILY, HADLEY FRASER, MAIYA QUANSAH-BREED, ALEX THOMAS-SMITH, EMMA WILLIAMS & MORE ANNOUNCED FOR THE SECRET GARDEN IN CONCERT ⭐
The Tony award-winning musical The Secret Garden, based on the 1911 novel of the same name, returns to the West End for a one-night-only concert celebration, it has been announced.
The Secret Garden will feature an ensemble cast lead by Mark Feehily (Westlife), Hadley Fraser (City Of Angels), Maiya Quansah-Breed (SIX), Alex Thomas-Smith (& Juliet) and Emma Williams (Half A Sixpence).
Also featuring Darcy Jacobs, Isaac Lancel-Watkinson, Michael Riseley, Linda John-Pierre, Grace Mouat, Aleyna Mohanraj, Johndeep More, Glain Rhys and Howard Scott Walker with narration by Lucy Drever.
Students from Trinity Laban Musical Theatre will be joining the cast as the ensemble.
In a lonely manor house on the Yorkshire Moors, Archibald Craven is stifled by his manipulative brother and yearns for his beautiful, late wife, all the while becoming more isolated and remote from his crippled son. But their quiet routine is turned upside down when young Mary Lennox is sent to live with them following the death of her parents in India. She finds a secret walled garden hidden in the grounds and with the help of a few friends releases the magic and adventure locked inside it, changing their lives forever.
This concert production is produced by Lambert Jackson Productions and will be directed by Nick Winston (Bonnie & Clyde) with music direction by Adam Hoskins (Doctor Zhivago), sound design by Jonny Dickie and Joshua Robins, lighting design by Joseph Thomas and social media by The Digi Creative.
The Secret Garden is based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett with book and lyrics by Marsha Norman and music by Lucy Simon.
The Secret Garden In Concert will play the London Palladium for one-night-only on 28th August 2022.
