⭐ LES MISÉRABLES – WEST END RETURN PLANNED FOR MAY 2021 ⭐
West End super producer Cameron Mackintosh has stated plans to re-open the West End production of Les Misérables from May 2021.
According to releases sent yesterday: “the critically acclaimed new production of Les Misérables, which opened in January of this year, is planned to re-open at the Sondheim Theatre next May once the Government has withdrawn social distancing and reached Stage 5 allowing full capacity audiences. Booking will re-commence soon.”
Considering how pessimistic he’s been, I’m glad Cameron Mackintosh seems to be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully this means Mary Poppins and Hamilton are aiming for May 2021 too.
We just have to hope that everything falls in place for theatre to start getting back to normal soon, for these shows to safety return.
