⭐ LES MISÉRABLES – THE STAGED CONCERT – EXTRA PERFORMANCES PLANNED ⭐

Extra performances are reportedly being planned for Les Misérables – The Staged Concert, it has been revealed.

Tickets are not even on general sale yet but on the Delfont Mackintosh website, when going to purchase pre-sale tickets today, the following statement has been posted:

“Demand for this production has been unprecedented. Should you be unable to find suitable tickets today, we are in the process of organising extra performances, so please check back tomorrow when we hope additional tickets will be released for general onsale at noon.”

Tickets go on general sale from 14th October.

Cameron Mackintosh announced the return of Les Misérables – The Staged Concert, for a six-week limited run at the Sondheim Theatre from 5th December 2020 – 17th January 2021, coinciding with the musical’s 35th year on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Les Misérables – The Staged Concert broke box office records and sold out its entire 16 week season when it ran last year at the Gielgud Theatre. Its all-star cast, led by Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, John Owen-Jones as Jean Valjean (at certain performances), Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine and Matt Lucas as Thénardier will return alongside a company of over 50 actors and musicians.

Covid safety measures and social distancing will be in place front of house, on stage, backstage and throughout the building.

Let’s hope they extend as well! ! !
