⭐ KISS ME, KATE – LONDON REVIVAL ANNOUNCED – STARRING ADRIAN DUNBAR & STEPHANIE J. BLOCK – BARBICAN THEATRE – JUNE 2024 ⭐
A new London revival of the classic musical KISS ME, KATE had been announced.
Trafalgar Theatre Productions, in collaboration with the Barbican, has announced the revival of KISS ME, KATE, led by Stephanie J. Block and Adrian Dunbar.
Hailed as Cole Porter’s greatest musical comedy, the production is set for a 15-week run at the Barbican Theatre starting on 4th June 2024,
Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) will be making his musical theatre debut as Fred Graham/Petruchio. Joining him is Tony Award winner Stephanie J. Block (Into the Woods, The Cher Show, 9 to 5) making her West End debut as Lilli Vanessi/Katharine.
Directed in a new production by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, featuring a cast of 50, with a full-scale orchestra, the musical showcases the work of Cole Porter, with a book by Sam & Bella Spewack.
Also including choreography by Anthony Van Laast, set design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Adam Fisher, and and music supervision by Stephen Ridley.
KISS ME, KATE will play the Barbican, running from 4th June – 14th September 2024. Tickets go on general sale from 19th January 2024.
