⭐ KINKY BOOTS – NEW SOUTH KOREAN PRODUCTION ANNOUNCED TO OPEN AUGUST 2020 ⭐
A new production of the hit musical Kinky Boots is coming to South Korea this August, it has been announced.
The production is set to play at Blue Square Interpark Hall from 21st August – 1st November 2020.
Sunggyu of boyband INFINITE will play the role of Charlie Price.
The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein and direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.
It gives me hope that these productions are being staged in South Korea, proving that it can be done with the right safety measures in place. I really hope the West End follows their lead and is able to implement a similar strategy.
