The full cast for the London premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical KIMBERLY AKIMBO has been announced.

Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman will star in the titular role, as previously announced, she is joined by Gilli Jones as Seth Weetis, Peter Hannah as Buddy Levaco, Niamh Perry as Pattie Levaco and Alice Fearn as Debra.

Also starring Aviva Tulley as Delia McDaniels, Robin Simões da Silva as Martin Doaty, with Ronav Jain as Aaron Puckett and Sara Hajizadeh as Teresa Benton, who are both making their professional stage debuts.

A profoundly funny and heartwarming musical and winner of five Tony Awards in 2023 including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, KIMBERLY AKIMBO tells the story of 16-year old Kimberly Levaco whose rare genetic condition causes her to age four times faster than usual. As she comes of age she searches for love and meaning while knowing time is not on her side.

KIMBERLY AKIMBO receives its much-anticipated London premiere in a new production by Michael Longhurst. His recent Olivier Award nominated production of Next to Normal transferred from a sold-out run at the Donmar to the West End.

Also featuring design by Soutra Gilmour, musical supervision by Nigel Lilley, choreography by Matt Cole, lighting design by Jack Knowles and sound design by Matt Peploe.

KIMBERLY AKIMBO has music by Jeanine Tesori, with book & lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. Based on David Lindsay-Abaire’s 2001 play of the same name.

KIMBERLY AKIMBO will play Hampstead Theatre, running from 28th August – 7th November 2026, with tickets on sale now.
