⭐ JONATHAN BAILEY TO STAR IN FILM ADAPTATION OF WICKED ⭐
Jonathan Bailey will star in the movie adaptation of the beloved musical Wicked, it has been announced.
Wicked director Jon M. Chu confirmed the news, that Bailey has joined the cast, playing the role of Fiyero.
He joins Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who will portray Glinda and Elphaba respectively, in Universal’s big-screen adaptation of the Tony-winning musical helmed by In the Heights director Chu.
Composer Stephen Schwartz is adapting the screenplay with Winnie Holzman. Marc Platt, who produced the Broadway musical, is set to also produce the film.
Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the show is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and is adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman.
