⭐ JOHN MALKOVICH ANNOUNCED AS PRESIDENT SNOW FOR STAGE ADAPTATION OF THE HUNGER GAMES ⭐

Further casting has been announced for the world premiere stage adaptation of THE HUNGER GAMES.

The renowned film and stage actor John Malkovich will play President Coriolanus Snow. The iconic character will be featured on a screen in the first-ever stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internatioanlly acclaimed book The Hunger Games and Lionsgate’s hit motion picture of the same name.

Malkovich will join the widely anticipated new production, with his performance appearing on screen at every show, creating an unforgettable stage meets screen spectacle.

He joins Mia Carragher as Katniss Everdeen, Euan Garrett as Peeta Mellark, Joshua Lacey as Haymitch Abernathy, Tristan Waterson as Gale Hawthorne, Tamsin Carroll as Effie Trinket, Stavros Demetraki as Caesar Flickerman, Nathan Ives-Moiba as Cinna & Mayor, Sophia Ally as Prim Everdeen & Ensemble, and Ruth Everett as Mrs. Everdeen & Ensemble.

The cast is completed by Aiya Agustin as Rue, Geo Bailey as Swing, Alexandra Barredo as Ensemble, Imogen Brooke as Ensemble, Liana Cottrill as Clove, Kyerron Dixon-Bassey as Swing, Lewis Easter as Marvel, Felix Garcia Guyer as Chief of Staff, Ensemble & Fight Captain, Marcellus Hill as Thresh, Matthew Ives as Swing & Swing Captain, Jessica Lee as Tippet, Mariana Lewis as Glimmer, Kiera Milward as Swing, Felipe Pacheo as Cato & Fight Captain, Redmond Rance as Stele, Nathanael Saleh as Swing, Mark Samaras as Drove, Artemis Stamouli as Fossa & Movement Captain and Rory Toms as Fila.

The state-of-the-art Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is a brand-new 1,200 seat purpose-built, dynamic theatre-in-the-round venue designed especially to host this production. The theatre, which is situated right in the heart of London’s vibrant Canary Wharf will put spectators into the heart of the action.

THE HUNGER GAMES will be directed by Matthew Dunster, adapted by Conor McPherson, featuring set design by Miriam Buether, costume design by Moi Tran, choreography by Charlotte Broom, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound design by Ian Dickinson for Autograph, video design by Tal Rosner, illusions by Chris Fisher, fight direction by Kev McCurdy, performer flying by Suspended Illusions, musical arrangements, direction & additional compositions by James Maloney, casting direction by Amy Ball CDG, with associate director James Robert Moore, creative assistant director Robyn Grant, associate set designer Luke Smith and production manager Lloyd Thomas.

THE HUNGER GAMES will begin performances at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, from 20th October 2025, with tickets on sale now.
