⭐ JODIE STEELE, ANNABEL GILES & MORE JOIN REHAB – THE MUSICAL ⭐
Full casting has been announced for the new musical, Rehab The Musical.
Jodie Steele (Heathers) and Annabel Giles (My Shirley Valentine Summer) will also join the new musical.
Also starring Andy Brady, Dawn Buckland, Marion Campbell, Andrew Patrick-Walker and Phil Sealey.
They join previously announced Jonny Labey (Strictly Ballroom), Keith Allen (The Homecoming), Gloria Onitiri (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella) and John Barr (Batboy The Musical).
It’s 1999 and jaded 26 year-old pop star, Kid Pop, finds himself in court, after being caught red handed in a drug fuelled tabloid sting. An understanding judge gives Kid the choice between jail time or a rehabilitation centre for six weeks. It’s a no-brainer for Kid: rehab will be a holiday. But how could he have got it so wrong?
Rehab The Musical is directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live).
The creative team also includes musical supervisor & arranger Simon Lee, set & lighting designer Andrew Exeter, sound designer Chris Whybrow, casting director Debbie O’Brien, producer Clive Black, co-producer Don Black, associate producer Jane Savidge, Jayne Meegan general manager Blacklist Entertainment/assistant producer and general manager Smart Entertainment.
Rehab The Musical has music & lyrics by Grant Black and Murray Lachlan Young, a book by Elliot Davis.
Rehab The Musical will play The Playground Theatre, running from 1st – 17th September 2022, with tickets on sale now.
