⭐ JOAQUIN PEDRO VALDES, LAUREN JONES, MAX CADMAN & ARCHEE AITCH WYLIE TO STAR IN CONCERT PRODUCTION OF THE HOUSE OF EDGAR ⭐

A new concert production of THE HOUSE OF EDGAR, the thrilling original musical inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, is coming to Seven Dials Playhouse, it has been announced.

The four-strong cast for the concert will feature Joaquin Pedro Valdes (Death Note, Heathers, The Bakers Wife) as Rufus Griswold, bitter rival to Edgar Allan Poe played by Max Cadman (Friends! The Parody Musical). Lauren Jones (Bonnie & Clyde, Rebecca) will play Virginia Clemm Poe, wife and muse to Edgar, with Archee Aitch Wylie (Portia Coughlan) as Price, the legal clerk who narrates the show.

Drawing on the master of gothic horror’s darkest stories, from Annabel Lee and The Raven, to The Tell-Tale Heart and The Fall of the House of Usher, THE HOUSE OF EDGAR spins haunting folk melodies to weave Poe’s classics into a ghostly new tale where all is not what it seems.

The concert will be directed by Beth Clarence and produced by Jack Dryden.

THE HOUSE OF EDGAR has a book, music & lyrics created by Thomas F. Arnold.

THE HOUSE OF EDGAR will play the Seven Dials Playhouse on Monday 23rd September 2024 – 7.30pm, with tickets on sale now.
