⭐ JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR – FRINTON SUMMER THEATRE – CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
The cast for the Frinton Summer Theatre production of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar, has been announced.
The new production will star previously announced Tim Rogers as Jesus and Hugh Maynard as Judas.
They are joined by Rebecca Birch as Mary Magdalene, Oliver Mawdsley as Peter, Joseph Riley as Simon, Jad Habchi as Caiaphas, Clive Brill as King Herod, Joey Zerpa-Falcon as Pontius Pilate and Michael Baxter as Annas, with the Hannah McPherson, Samuelle Durojaiye and Claire-Marie Hall as Ensemble.
Almost fifty years to the day since this iconic rock opera first opened in London, Jesus Christ Superstar comes to Frinton in the big top tent. Controversial in its early years it has since become one of the best loved musicals and features the wonderful song ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him.’
Jesus Christ Superstar has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice.
Jesus Christ Superstar will play Frinton Summer Theatre, running from 19th August – 4th September 2022, with tickets on sale now.
