The full cast for the thrilling new Southwark Playhouse production of Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows’ How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying has been announced.

Starring Annie Aitken (she/her, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella) as Hedy LaRue, Taylor Bradshaw (he/him, Spring Awakening) as Mr Bert Bratt, Allie Daniel (she/her, Legally Blonde) as Rosemary Pilkington, Gabrielle Friedman (she/they, Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends) as J Pierrepont Finch, Elliot Gooch (he/him, Dorian: A Rock Musical) as Bud Frump, Grace Kanyamibwa (she/her, The Book of Mormon) as Miss Jones, Danny Lane (he/him, Only Fools and Horses the Musical) as Mr Twimble/Mr Wally Womper, Milo McCarthy (they/them, Birds and the Bees) as Mr Milton Gatch, and Verity Power (she/her, Trump L’Oeil) as Smitty.

They join the previously announced Tracie Bennett (she/her) in the role of J.B. Biggley. Also featuring the voice of Michelle Visage.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is a comic gem that took Broadway by storm in 1961, winning both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize. It was revived twice on Broadway in acclaimed productions starring Matthew Broderick and Daniel Radcliffe.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will be directed by Georgie Rankcom (they/them), featuring choreographer Alexzandra Sarmiento (she/her), musical director Natalie Pound (she/her), set & costume designer Sophia Pardon (she/her), lighting designer Lucía Sánchez Roldán (she/her), sound designer Jake Johnson (he/him), orchestrator Stuart Morley (he/him), stage manager Waverley Moran (she/they), production manager Misha Mah (they/them), casting director Peter Noden (he/him) and producer/general manager Jodee Conrad (she/her).

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will play Southwark Playhouse Borough, running from 12th May – 17th June 2023, with tickets on sale now.
