⭐ HELLO, DOLLY! – WEST END REVIVAL ANNOUNCED – STARRING IMELDA STAUNTON – LONDON PALLADIUM – SUMMER 2024 ⭐
Multi-Olivier and BAFTA Award-winning Imelda Staunton will lead a brand-new West End revival of the musical HELLO, DOLLY!, it has been announced.
Staunton will star as the titular Dolly Levi, in the long-awaited revival, which will play the London Palladium for a strictly limited 10-week season next summer.
This brand-new production re-unites Imelda with director Dominic Cooke following the critically acclaimed Follies at the National Theatre.
Also announced to star are Andy Nyman as Horace Vandergelder, Jenna Russell as Irene Molloy, Tyrone Huntley as Barnaby Tucker and Harry Hepple as Cornelius Hackl.
Meddlesome socialite turned matchmaker Dolly Levi travels to Yonkers, New York to find a match for the miserly, unmarried ‘half-a-millionaire’ Horace Vandergelder, but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is for herself.
The creative team will also include choreography by Bill Deamer, sound design by Paul Groothuis, musical supervisor, music director & music arrangements by Nick Skilbeck, lighting design by Jon Clark and video design by Finn Ross.
The production will also feature an 18-piece orchestra.
HELLO, DOLLY! has music & lyrics by the legendary Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart.
HELLO, DOLLY! is one of the most iconic musicals of all time. Jerry Herman’s timeless score includes “Put On Your Sunday Clothes”, “Ribbons Down My Back”, “Before the Parade Passes By” , “Elegance” , “It Only Takes a Moment” and of course, “Hello, Dolly!”
HELLO, DOLLY! will play the London Palladium, running from 6th July – 14th September 2024. Priority booking opens 6th December 2023.
