⭐ HAMLET – STARRING SIR IAN MCKELLEN – THEATRE ROYAL WINDSOR – EXTENSION ANNOUNCED ⭐

The Theatre Royal Windsor production of Hamlet has been extended it has been announced.

Due to popular demand, the Theatre Royal Windsor are extending the run of Hamlet for an additional 3 weeks until 25th September.

Sir Ian McKellen takes on the role of Hamlet for the first time in almost half a century in this new production.

The age-blind production of Shakespeare’s tragedy also stars Francesca Annis, Jenny Seagrove, Steven Berkoff, Emmanuella Cole, Alis Wyn Davies, Missy Malek, Ben Allen, Asif Khan, Nick Howard-Brown, Llinos Daniel and Ashley Gayle.

Design by Lee Newby, costume design by Loren Elstein, lighting design by Jamie Platt, composition and sound design by Adam Cork. Hamlet will be directed by Sean Mathias and produced by Bill Kenwright,

Following Hamlet, the company will also present Martin Sherman’s adaptation of Anton Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard, which will now play from 1st October – 13th November 2021.
