The full cast for the Frinton Summer Theatre revival of HALF A SIXPENCE has been announced.
Starring Joseph Riley as Arthur Kipps, Amber Hoile as Ann, Liv Koplick as Helen, Claire Carrie as Mrs Walsingham and Clive Brill as Chitterlowm
With Christopher Howell as Mr Salford, Francesca Pim as Flo Evans, Tracy Collier as Lady Punnett, Alice Redmond as Aunt Susan/Ensemble, Tommy Fouweather as Sid Pornick, George Shuter as Buggins.
Also starring Archie Papworth as Pierce, Elliot Gooch as James Walsingham, Luke Farrugia as Uncle Bert/Mr Maxwell, Alex Aram as Carshot/Ensemble and Munashe Brodersen as Miss Ross/Mrs Bindo-Botting.

Since 1934, Frinton Summer Theatre has brought professional theatre to the Essex coast. One of the UK’s longest-running summer repertory theatres, they have built a reputation for quality, variety and artistic ambition. Each summer, The McGrigor Hall is transformed into an intimate 200-seat theatre for a season of weekly changing productions, culminating in a spectacular musical in the Big Top Tent on the Frinton-on-Sea Greensward – a truly unique theatre experience by the sea.
The Frinton Summer Theatre production will be directed by Bryan Hodgson and feature musical direction by Neil Somerville.
HALF A SIXPENCE is based on the book by H.G. Wells “Kipps: The Story Of A Simple Soul” and the original musical by Beverley Cross & David Heneker. Original songs by David Heneker, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs & additional lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, orchestrations by William David Brohn and co-created by Cameron Mackintosh.
HALF A SIXPENCE will play Frinton Summer Theatre, Big Top Tent on Frinton-on-Sea Greensward, running from 18th – 29th August 2026, with tickets on sale now.
