⭐ GODSPELL – OFF-WEST END REVIVAL CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
CR8TRACT Theatre is thrilled to announce their full cast for the upcoming revival of Godspell.
The off-West End production opens at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow, playing for sixteen fun packed performances.
Godspell will feature Alex White (Adeline) as Jesus, Josh Hanley (Betty Blue Eyes) as John the Baptist/Judas, Eleanor Walsh (Titanic, Aspects of Love), Martine J. Berg (Hot Mess), Reece McKenzie (Hair), Kimberley Ensor (Mamma Mia), Daniel Noah (Naked Boys Singing), Joe Churms (Sweet Charity), Laura Hyde (Twelfth Night) and Naomi Cowe (Love’s Labour’s Lost).
A community of lost disciples are brought together by following the words of a reinvented contemporary Christ. Taking messages from the gospel of Matthew and ultimately leading to his crucifixion, Jesus teaches his new tribe the value of love, hope and friendship through the medium of storytelling, song and dance.
Complete with a fresh, new vibe and re-orchestrated score from the 2011 Broadway revival, this fully-staged powerhouse belter of a show will raise the roof and have you dancing in the aisles.
This revival will be directed and choreographed by Brendan Matthew (Guy the Musical), with music direction by Benjamin Levy (The Music of James Bond), associate direction and choreography by Ashen Gupta (NW Trilogy) and Laura Hyde, Lighting by Matthew Swithinbank, sound by Daniel Mawson, produced by Laurel Dougall for CR8TRACT Theatre and Jim Shields.
Godspell will be playing the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre, running from 25th September – 10th October 2021, with tickets on sale now.
