Ovation presents a new production of the award-winning musical Five Guys Named Moe, coming to Upstairs at the Gatehouse, it has been announced.

Five Guys Named Moe is an explosion of entertainment using the great music of Louis Jordan.

Nomax is single, broke and drinking his sorrows away when Five Guys Named Moe – Big Moe, Little Moe, Eat Moe, Know Moe and Four-Eyed Moe – appear out of nowhere to help him straighten out and sing and dance his way to love!

Featuring the irresistible hits of the original king of jazz Louis Jordan, including Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby, Early In The Morning, Choo Choo Ch’Boogie and Saturday Night Fish Fry.

Accompanied by a five piece band in the intimate theatre above the The Gatehouse.

Five Guys Named Moe has a book by Clarke Peters and lyrics and music by Louis Jordan & others. This new production will directed and choreographed by Mykal Rand.

Five Guys Named Moe will play Upstairs at the Gatehouse, running from 15th December 2021 — 16th January 2022, with tickets on sale now.
