⭐ EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE – THE MUSICAL – CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐
The workshop cast for the stage musical adaptation of EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE has been announced.
Sisco Entertainment has announced the first industry showcase, following a week-long workshop, of EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE, a new musical in development, based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, at the Union Theatre on 30th September 2026.
Foer’s novel follows nine-year-old Oskar Schell, who one year after losing his father discovers a mysterious key hidden amongst his father’s belongings and embarks on an extraordinary journey across New York City to find the lock it opens. Along the way he encounters a community of strangers whose lives become intertwined with his own, revealing hidden family secrets and unexpected connections.
Told through Oskar’s vivid imagination, EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE is a new musical about grief, love and the connections that bind us together.
The showcase will star Jon Robyns, Rebecca Trehearn, Lemuel Knights, Madalena Alberto, Landi Oshinowo, Iverson Yabut, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lucy Schaufer, Graham Bickley, Nicholas Pound, Heather Lundstedt, Shivanne Shubash with the role of Oskar Schell shared by Patrick O’Grady and Theo Wake.
Directed by Victoria Gimby, with musical supervision by Sean Green, musical direction by Oliver Rew and assistant direction by Cara Novotny. Based on the novel EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE by Jonathan Safran Foer. The showcase is presented for an invited audience of producers, co-producers, investors, venues and industry guests.
