⭐ EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE FILM RELEASE MOVED TO JANUARY 2021 ⭐
The release date the highly anticipated film adaptation of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has been moved to 22nd January 2021, it has been announced.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will star newcomer Max Harwood in the lead role of Jamie New opposite Richard E Grant (Withnail and I) in the hilarious role of Hugo / Loco Chanel.
They are joined by Sharon Horgan as Miss Hedge, Sarah Lancashire as Margaret New and Shobna Gulati, who reprises her role as Rey from the West End run.
Produced by Twentieth Century Fox, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is directed by Jonathan Butterell — who returns to direct from the stage musical in his film debut — and features a screenplay co-written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae — who also penned the musical’s book.
I’m sad on the one hand but I definitely want this film to be given a real chance to shine, so hopefully this extra time will give it that!
