⭐ ELLIOT CLAY & LUCY KEIRL TO STAR IN UK TOUR OF MURDER FOR TWO ⭐
A new UK tour of the murder mystery musical comedy MURDER FOR TWO has been announced.
MURDER FOR TWO will star Elliot Clay (The Mousetrap) as Detective Marcus, with Lucy Keirl (The 39 Steps) as The Suspects.
The tour will open at the Chipping Norton Theatre, Oxfordshire (26th Sept – 5th Oct), before heading out to The Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmund (9th – 12th Oct), Cast, Doncaster (15th – 16th Oct), Lichfield Garrick Theatre (17th – 19th Oct), The Quarry Theatre, Bedford (25th – 26th Oct), Mercury Theatre, Colchester (29th – 30th Oct), Theatre Royal, Winchester (31st Oct – 2nd Nov), New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich (5th – 9th Nov), The Corn Exchange, Newbury (12th – 13th Nov), Berry Theatre, Eastleigh (14th Nov) and Tacchi Morris Arts Centre, Taunton (15th – 16th Nov).
MURDER FOR TWO is an anarchic musical murder mystery with a twist: one actor investigates the crime, whilst the other plays all the suspects! And they both play the piano throughout!
When the body of an acclaimed novelist is discovered at his birthday party, all the guests fall under suspicion. Can local police officer and wannabe Detective, Marcus, solve the mystery before the experts arrive?
With live music from a shared piano, and side splitting entertainment, MURDER FOR TWO will keep you guessing until the final note.
Directed by Caroline Leslie, with set & costume design by Dora Schweitzer, lighting design by Alexandra Stafford, sound design by Matt Eaton, musical direction by Barnaby Southgate. Produced by John Terry and Rachel Jermy for Chipping Norton Theatre.
