⭐ DREW GEHLING & MORE ANNOUNCED FOR RETURN OF BROADWAY’S WAITRESS ⭐

Drew Gehling will join the cast for the return of the Broadway musical Waitress, it has been announced.

Gehling will play Dr Pomatter, a role he originated in the previous Broadway production. He joins the previously announced Sara Bareilles, who stars in the role of Jenna Hunterson (from 2nd Sept – 17th Oct)

Also announced were Eric Anderson as Cal, Charity Angel Dawson as Becky, Christopher Fitzgerald as Ogie, Caitlin Houlahan as Dawn, Dakin Matthews as Joe and Joe Tippett as Earl. All cast members previously starred in Waitress during its prior Broadway run.

The ensemble for Waitress includes Tyrone Davis, Jr., Matt DeAngelis, Andrew Fitch, Henry Gottfried, Molly Jobe, Emily Koch, Max Kumangai, Anastacia McCleskey and Stephanie Torns. Further casting to be announced at a later date.

Based on the film of the same name, it follows a waitress in a diner who dreams of leaving her job and forging a life of her own.

Waitress has an original score by seven-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
