Donna McKechnie will bring her new show, celebrating Stephen Sondheim, to Crazy Coqs, it has been announced.
Tony Award winner and internationally renowned Broadway leading lady, Donna McKechnie returns to Crazy Coqs with her brand new show – Take Me To The World – The Songs of Stephen Sondheim.
Donna celebrates the greatest Broadway composer and lyricist of our time, Stephen Sondheim, by performing songs from many of his shows, including A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Anyone Can Whistle and songs from film scores. Donna shares stories of her time working with him and the great influence he had in her life, both professionally and personally.
McKechnie, who received a Tony Award for her performance in the original company of A Chorus Line, is regarded internationally as one of Broadway’s foremost singing and dancing leading ladies. She has starred in and choreographed productions in London’s West End, along with theatrical productions in Tokyo and Paris.
Take Me To The World – The Songs of Stephen Sondheim will feature musical direction by Ian Herman.
Donna McKechnie – Take Me To The World – The Songs of Stephen Sondheim will play Crazy Coqs, taking place on 14th, 15th & 18th November 2022.
