⭐ DISNEY’S TANGLED STAGE MUSICAL ADAPTATION TEASED ⭐
Legendary composer Alan Menken has teased development of a stage adaptation of the beloved Disney animated musical, Tangled.
Tangled is the 2010 animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy. It is loosely based on the German fairy tale Rapunzel.
In a comment posted on his Facebook page, relating to the Tangled TV series – Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, he alludes to developments of a stage adaptation and a live-action film adaptation:
“I’m so grateful to everyone involved with RAPUNZEL’S TANGLED ADVENTURE– the production team, all the creatives, the amazing voice talents, our wonderful music team and the incredible devoted fans. Glenn and I had a blast, writing so many new songs that continue the journey we started with the animated film and the cruise ship live show. What a blessing TANGLED has been. And there’s more to come…stage? Live-action? Stay tuned!!”
News of a live-action film adaptation was reported earlier this year but very little details were announced.
It would be incredibly exciting if this becomes reality.
