⭐ DISNEY’S HERCULES SET FOR STAGE MUSICAL ADAPTATION ⭐
Hercules is the latest Disney movie to leap from screen to stage.
A musical adaptation of the animated film will play the Public Theater’s Delacorte Theater in Central Park, concluding the Off-Broadway company’s 2019 Shakespeare in the Park season.
Performances will run from 31st August – 8th September.
The musical will include Alan Menken and David Zippel’s songs from the 1997 animated film, including the Oscar-nominated “Go the Distance” as well as new material and songs.
A new book by Glow writer Kristoffer Diaz, choreography by Be More Chill choreographer Chase Brock and Lear deBessonet will direct.
I’m so glad this is being turned into a stage musical, it needs to come to the West End AND THAT’S THE GOSPEL TRUTH! ! !
