Legendary drag queen Coco Peru will be bringing her new show BITTER, BOTHERED & BEYOND to the UK this April, it has been announced.
After everything that’s been going on in the world, Coco is ready to unleash her thoughts about the past, present and future. Yes, this exhausted dinosaur of drag is not holding back anything in her new show BITTER, BOTHERED & BEYOND!
Last set to perform in the UK on the eve of international lockdown in 2020, Coco has not had the opportunity to put the world to rights for her UK fans since her 2018 sell-out-shows in London and Manchester. That’s 6 WHOLE years ago. And gurl, gurrrrrl, gurrrrrrrrl… much has happened since then. Bitter, Bothered & Beyond is the culmination of a lot of feelings; expect home truths, song, cutting satire, belly laughs and some good old fashioned draggy story telling!
Do not expect deathdrops.
Storyteller and performer MISS COCO PERU is a regular on the US scene, delighting audiences across the country with her sell-out live shows, and worldwide through her on-line social-media fan base (hits in the millions darling!). Old fans and new alike flock to see Coco, a unique talent and much loved Queen, nigh Matriarch, of drag.
COCO PERU – BITTER, BOTHERED & BEYOND will be playing The Glee Club Birmingham (6th April), King’s Head Theatre London (9th – 13th April), Home Manchester (15th April) and Slay Glasgow (17th April), with tickets on sale now.
