⭐ CAROLINE O’CONNOR TO STAR IN LIDO 2 PARIS REVIVAL OF HELLO, DOLLY! ⭐
Musical Theatre star Caroline O’Connor will star in the Lido 2 Paris revival of HELLO, DOLLY! it has been announced.
O’Connor will lead the new production as the titular Dolly Levi.
HELLO, DOLLY! is a bubbly, heartfelt musical comedy that tells the story of Dolly Levi, a resourceful and witty professional matchmaker, who travels to Yonkers, New York, to find the perfect match for the grumpy bachelor and rich merchant, Horace Vandergelder. In her quest to unite lonely hearts, Dolly concocts a daring plan that involves unexpected encounters, hilarious misunderstandings, and a series of comical events. As she works to orchestrate love around her, Dolly realizes that her own chance at happiness might just be within reach.
HELLO, DOLLY! takes you on a romantic adventure with its breathtaking musical numbers, elaborate choreography, and sumptuous costumes, making each scene more memorable than the last. This iconic production celebrates love, friendship, and the joy of living through moments of pure theatrical magic.
Olivier Award winner Stephen Mear will direct and choreograph this new production, with set & costume design by Peter McKintosh, lighting design by Tim Mitchell, musical direction by Nigel Lilley and sound design by Unison Design.
The show will be presented in English and surtitled in French.
HELLO, DOLLY! has music & lyrics by the legendary Jerry Herman (La Cage aux Folles, Mack and Mabel, Mame) and book by Michael Stewart (42nd Street, Mack and Mabel, Barnum).
HELLO, DOLLY! will play the Lido 2 Paris, running from 7th November 2024 – 5th January 2025, with tickets on sale now.
