⭐ CALLUM FRANCIS, DANIELLE HOPE, CHRISTIAN DOUGLAS & MORE ANNOUNCED FOR OFF-BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF KINKY BOOTS ⭐
Casting has been announced for the upcoming Off-Broadway production of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical, Kinky Boots.
Callum Francis will lead the new off-Broadway production as Lola. Francis previously portrayed the role to great acclaim in the original West End production at the Adelphi Theatre, in the Australian production, and on Broadway.
Christian Douglas (Newsies) will star as Charlie Price with West End star Danielle Hope (The Wizard of Oz) as Lauren.
Brianna Stoute will make her off-Broadway debut as Nicola, with Sean Steele in his off-Broadway debut as Don and Marcus Neville, reprising his role of George from the Broadway production.
The ensemble will include Devin Bowles, Bella Coppola, Nick Drake, Ian Gallagher Fitzgerald, Ryan Halsaver, Matthew Michael Janisse, Lindsay Joan, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, Marty Lauter, Tommy Martinez, Ryah Nixon, Lucas Pastrana, Liz Pearce, Ricky Shroeder, David J. Socolar, Ebrin R. Stanley, Tarion Strong, Ernest T. Williams, and Maria Wirries.
Inspired by true events, this huge-hearted hit is the winner of every major Best Musical Award, including the Tony Award, the Grammy Award, and the Olivier Award.
Kinky Boots features songs from Grammy and Tony award winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, with a book by legendary Broadway playwright Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray), the musical is based on the film written by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth.
Kinky Boots will play Stage 42, running from 26th July 2022, with tickets on sale now.
