⭐ BRADLEY COOPER TO DIRECT & STAR IN LEONARD BERNSTEIN BIOPIC ⭐
Bradley Cooper will direct and star in a film about Leonard Bernstein, the legendary conductor and musical maestro behind “West Side Story”.
Cooper will also produce and co-write the biopic with Josh Singer (Spotlight).
The film will span over 30 years, telling the story of the marriage between Bernstein and his wife, Felicia Montealegre, even though Bernstein was a not-so-closeted gay man.
The Chilean-born actress remained married to Bernstein for nearly 30 years and until her death. They had three children together, but Montealegre knew about Bernstein’s affairs with other men before and after their wedding.
It has an A-list lineup of producers that includes Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.
Netflix has acquired the rights to the film and will give the film a significant theatrical release before it moves exclusively to the streaming platform.
Production on the drama is expected to begin early next year.
Wow this sounds really interesting. I absolutely loved his remake of “A Star Is Born”.
