⭐ BLOOD BROTHERS – UK TOUR 2022 CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
The cast for the 2022 UK tour of Blood Brothers has been announced.
As previously revealed Niki Evans will reprise the iconic role of Mrs Johnstone, after previously playing the role of Mrs Johnstone in the West End.
Also returning is Sean Jones, reprising his critically-acclaimed performance as Mickey Johnstone.
New additions also include Carly Burns (Linda), Melissa Potts (Brenda) and Jacob Yolland (Bus Conductor).
They join Joel Benedict (Eddie), Josh Capper (Neighbour), Tim Churchill (Mr Lyons), Grace Galloway (Donna Marie/Miss Jones), Andy Owens (Perkins), Robbie Scotcher (Narrator), Paula Tappenden (Mrs Lyons), Daniel Taylor (Sammy) and Nick Wilkes (Teacher/Policeman).
The current production is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright, with musical direction by Matt Malone, scenic & costume design by Andy Walmsley, sound design by Dan Samson and lighting by Nick Richings with Darran Curtis as associate lighting designer.
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences.
Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award winning Blood Brothers. Bill Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone.
The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.
