⭐ ARIANA GRANDE & CYNTHIA ERIVO ANNOUNCED TO STAR IN FILM ADAPTATION OF WICKED ⭐
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have been cast in movie adaptation of the beloved musical Wicked, it has been announced.
Grande and Erivo will portray Glinda and Elphaba, respectively, in Universal’s big-screen adaptation of the Tony-winning musical helmed by In the Heights director Jon M. Chu.
Composer Stephen Schwartz is adapting the screenplay with Winnie Holzman. Marc Platt, who produced the Broadway musical, is set to also produce the film.
Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the show is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and is adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman.
