⭐ AMARA OKEREKE TO LEAD MY FAIR LADY REVIVAL ⭐

Amara Okereke will lead the cast of the long-awaited revival of My Fair Lady, it has been announced.

Okereke will star as Eliza Doolittle in the upcoming London Coliseum production. She will be joined by Harry Hadden-Paton, who reprises the role of Professor Henry Higgins from the Lincoln Centre production.

Also starring theatre royalty Vanessa Redgrave as Mrs Higgins with Sharif Afifi as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

Bartlett Sher’s glorious version of the classic Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe musical will play the London Coliseum, for a limited season, from May 2022.

This production of My Fair Lady previously played at New York’s Lincoln Center, the theater that brought us the Tony-winning revivals of South Pacific and The King and I.

My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

The classic score features “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.”

The original 1956 production won six Tony Awards including Best Musical, and was hailed by The New York Times as “one of the best musicals of the century.”

My Fair Lady will play a 16-week engagement at the London Coliseum, running from 7th May 2022.
