⭐ RUMOUR – PRETTY WOMAN – THE MUSICAL SET TO TRANSFER TO SAVOY THEATRE ⭐
The West End production of Pretty Woman – The Musical will reportedly be transferring to the Savoy Theatre, it is rumoured.
Pretty Woman – The Musical opened in the West End, at the Piccadilly Theatre, early March 2020 but unfortunately had to close a couple of weeks after, due to COVID-19 pandemic. The production was originally due to play a limited season until January 2021.
The show is expected to return when theatres reopen but the highly-anticipated stage musical adaptation of Moulin Rouge is set to open at the Piccadilly Theatre this autumn.
Pretty Woman – The Musical will now reportedly transfer to the Savoy Theatre instead, which has an opening, due to planned runs of Sunday in the Park with George and The Boy in the Dress having to be rescheduled or pulled due to the ongoing situation with the pandemic.
Pretty Woman – The Musical stars Aimie Atkinson as Vivian – the role originated in the film by Julia Roberts – and Danny Mac as Edward.
Pretty Woman – The Musical features direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray), an original score by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance and a book by the movie’s legendary director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton.
This would be fabulous news, if true! ! !
