CAMERON MACKINTOSH CONFIRMS TOURING PRODUCTION WILL REPLACE ORIGINAL PHANTOM OF THE OPERA PRODUCTION

⭐ CAMERON MACKINTOSH CONFIRMS TOURING PRODUCTION WILL REPLACE ORIGINAL PHANTOM OF THE OPERA WEST END PRODUCTION ⭐

Sir Cameron Mackintosh has confirmed that the recent new touring production will take the place of the original Phantom of the Opera production when it returns to the West End.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, when asked to clarify the situation with Phantom, he commented: “Before lockdown we opened a fabulous new production in Leicester, which Andrew came to see – and it’s going to go into Her Majesty’s. His company is the co-producer. It was just Andrew being ‘the artist’. When it suits him he’s the lonely artist and when he wants to put on a show he’s the showman. He has always been like that. I just get on with things.”

The Phantom of the Opera has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, and a book by Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe. Based on the 1910 French novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux.

There you have it. Can’t be much clearer that than that. Hopefully this new updated production will be just as good as the original.

Thoughts? X x x
