⭐ SCOOT THEATRE’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
Scoot Theatre have announced the cast for their festive production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
Returning to Scoot after their recent summer tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream are Joseph Prowen (Twelfth Night – RSC, An Ideal Husband – Chichester) and Sally Cheng (Twelfth Night, A Christmas Carol – RSC).
Joining them, as Ebenezer Scrooge, is Darrell Brockis (House & Garden – The Watermill, Peter Pan – O2 Arena).
Scoot Theatre’s brand new, family friendly adaptation tells the story of legendary star of stage and screen (in his own opinion), Darren Broccolis. Not only has he written and directed his own version of A Christmas Carol but he has also now cast (some may say typecast) himself as the main part – the infamously miserable old miser, Ebenezer Scrooge.
Unfortunately, having spent almost the entire budget on a lavish, historically accurate Victorian costume for himself, he is forced to enlist the help of a very keen (and very inexpensive) young actor and his painfully shy niece (free) to play all the other parts.
This production of A Christmas Carol is adapted and directed by Scoot Theatre founder Max Hutchinson (As an actor – The Woman in Black – West End).
Performances will take place inside a marquee and will adhere to all COVID-secure regulations.
Scoot Theatre’s A Christmas Carol will play the East Molesey Cricket Club from 8th – 20th December 2020.
Brilliant! ! !
