⭐ WEST END STAR AIMIE ATKINSON TREKS ACROSS THE UK – COAST TO COAST – TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE ROYAL THEATRICAL FUND ⭐
West End star Aimie Atkinson (Pretty Woman, Six) has been trekking across the breath of UK, from the West coast to the East on the famous Coast to Coast Walk: a total of 190 miles, with her three dogs, Wolfie, Magic and Roxie. She is now 11 days into her trip and has reached the half way point in the middle of the UK.
Taking 3 weeks to complete, crossing through very hard terrain including the mountainous Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and York Moors, Aimie is raising money for The Royal Theatrical Fund, who provide support to those that have worked professionally in the entertainment industry.
The Theatre Community Fund was established to directly support the theatrical artists and professionals whose livelihoods and creative futures have been threatened in the wake of Covid-19.
Aimie has been documenting her whole journey on her Instagram account – instagram.com/aimieatkinson – with daily videos and stories so you can follow her progress for the remainder of the trek.
She has currently raised £4100 for The Theatre Community Fund and hopes to raise more by the time she finishes on the trek on 4th October while also raising awareness about how the theatre community have been affected by corona virus.
