Lambert Jackson & Crazy Coqs will present Austin Winsberg, Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner’s musical First Date in a virtual production, it has been announced.
Two New York City singles have been set up by friends and family, but from the outset this ‘First Date’ seems to be doomed. The two have nothing in common… But with the help of a meddling but well-meaning waiter, and a host of other characters along the way, can this mismatched pair turn what could be a dating disaster into something special before the check arrives?
Samantha Barks (Pretty Woman) and Simon Lipkin (Nativity! The Musical) will be joined by Oscar Conlon-Morrey (Only Fools And Horses), Nicholas McLean (Wicked) and Danielle Steers (Bat Out Of Hell), as well as a special appearance by Rufus Kampa (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, The Musical).
This joyful show will be exclusively filmed in Crazy Coqs with direction and professional videography by Dean Johnson, musical supervision by Adam Hoskins and musical direction by Josh Winstone.
First Date will be available to stream from 22nd – 24th October.
