⭐ THE WATERMILL THEATRE TO RE-OPEN WITH OUTDOOR SUMMER SHOWS – INCLUDING CONCERT VERSION OF LERNER & LOEWE MUSICAL CAMELOT ⭐

The Watermill Theatre in Newbury will re-open this summer with two outdoor shows, it has been announced.

The venue will present an outdoor concert version of iconic Lerner and Loewe musical Camelot, featuring actor-musicians.

Lose yourself in a world of knights and chivalry, royalty and romance in a spirit-lifting concert performance of Lerner and Loewe’s musical based on the legend of King Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot.

From the writers of My Fair Lady, enjoy classic songs including ‘If Ever I Would Leave You’, ‘How To Handle A Woman’, ‘The Lusty Month of May’ and ‘Camelot’.

Camelot runs from 17th – 29th August, with casting and creative team to be revealed.

The theatre will also present a in a brand-new comedy version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most celebrated Sherlock Holmes story, The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Just three actors will be playing all the characters, with the cast comprising of Victoria Blunt, James Mack and Rosalind Lailey.

The Hound of the Baskervilles plays from 29th July – 8th August.

Rather than having conventional seating arrangements, there will be twenty tables available for each performance, which can each seat a maximum of four people from one party only.
