⭐ THE BOY FRIEND NORTH AMERICAN TRANSFER CANCELLED ⭐
The North American transfer of the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Sandy Wilson’s The Boy Friend has been canceled, it has been announced.
The Boy Friend was scheduled to play 25th March – 5th May at the Princess of Wales Theatre.
Mirvish Productions has also suspended performances in its four theatres (Royal Alexandra, Princess of Wales, Ed Mirvish & the CAA) until 12th April.
In a statement David Mirvish said, “Out of an abundance of caution, and in an effort to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all Mirvish theatres will suspend performances, effective from the matinee today through Sunday, April 12. Regarding performances beyond April 12, we will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.”
Another production affected. Uncertain times ahead for theatre world.
