⭐ FOOTLOOSE UK TOUR CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐
Casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Footloose.
The cast will include Geri Allen (Ethel/Betty/Coach), Holly Ashton (Vi Moore/Principal Clarke), Jess Barker (Wendy-Jo), Ben Barrow (Wes/Swing), Alex Fobbester (Bickle), Josh Hawkins (Ren), Lucy Ireland (Off-Stage Swing), Evie Rose Lane (Ariel), Ben Mabberley (Jeter/Cowboy Bob), Daniel Miles (Off-Stage Swing), Tom Mussell (Chuck), Samantha Richards (Urleen), Dionne Ward Anderson (Rusty) and Anna Westlake (Lulu/Swing).
Darren Day joins the cast as Reverend Moore, with the previously announced Gareth Gates playing Willard.
The new tour will be opening at the New Wimbledon Theatre on the 24th April, before visiting Birmingham, Derby, Barnstaple, Sunderland, Llandudno, Aberdeen, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Malvern, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Oxford, Bradford, Doncaster, Cheltenham, Manchester, Skegness, Cardiff, Woking and Stoke.
Based on the 1980s film of the same name about a town where dancing and rock music are banned.
It features numbers including “Holding Out for a Hero”, “Almost Paradise” and “Footloose”
Footloose the musical is directed by Racky Plews, with choreography from Matt Cole, musical supervision by Mark Crossland and design by Sara Perk.
