A new UK revival of the classic musical KISS ME KATE has been announced.
The Mill At Sonning has announced a new production of the musical, as part of their 2027 season.
A glorious backstage musical comedy, KISS ME KATE brings together Shakespeare, showbiz and Cole Porter’s Irresistible score in one sparkiing theatrical treae actin duo are on of The Taming of the Shrew, sparks fly both on stage and off. Add jealous lovers, comic gangsters and a company full of larger-than-life characters, and the result is a witty, romantic and joyously entertaining classic.
Featuring unforgettable songs including Another Op’nin’, Another Show, So In Love, Too Darn Hot, Wunderbar and Brush Up Your Shakespeare, this is musical theatre at its most stylish, witty and exuberant.
KISS ME KATE will play The Mill at Sonning, running from 19th November 2027 – 19th January 2028, with tickets going on sale later this year.
