The cast for the Théâtre du Lido revival of SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN has been announced
SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN is one of Hollywood’s most celebrated films (ranked 5th greatest American film!). The film will be reborn on stage in September 2026 at the Théâtre du Lido, in a new English-language production, brought to life by a magnificent company of actors and singers and a full orchestra.
Starring Ashley Day as Don Lockwood, Maddie Waller as Kathy Selden, Charlie Waddell as Cosmo Brown, Natasha O’Brien as Lina Lamont, Julius D’Silva as R.F Simpson, Russell Wilcox as Roscoe Dexter, Daniele Coombe as Dora Bailey/Miss Dinsmore.
Also starring Liam Dean, Michael Anderson, Brian O’Muiri, Aristide Lyons, Rhys Batten, Georges Deller, Joshy Alody, Reece McGowan, and Jamie Cruttenden.
With Ashton Harkness, Georgia Pemberton, Ellie-May Wilson, Erica-Jayne Alden, Bella Baldock, Scarlet Roche, Jessica Sutton, Ruby Greenwood and Grace Hawksworth.
Inspired by the American film by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly released in 1952, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN is an optimistic and joyful show that will make you forget rainy days. Each song illuminates the story of three artists’ destinies during the 1920s in Hollywood, when silent cinema was gradually giving way to talking pictures, and black and white was fading in favour of colour.
SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN will have direction, co-set design, co-lighting design by Robert Carsen, co-set design & costume design by Luis F. Carvalho, choreography by Rebecca Howell, co-lighting design by Giuseppe Di Iori, video design by Finn Ross, sound design by Unisson Design.
SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN has a book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed. Based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer classic film.
SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN will play Théâtre du Lido, Paris, running from 17th September 2026, with tickets on sale now.
