The London premiere of THE HUNGER GAMES – ON STAGE has extended its run, it has been announced.

The first-ever stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book THE HUNGER GAMES and Lionsgate’s hit motion picture of the same name have been extended until 14th February 2027.

THE HUNGER GAMES – ON STAGE stars Mia Carragher as Katniss Everdeen, with Euan Garrett as Peeta Mellark, Joshua Lacey as Haymitch Abernathy, Tristan Waterson as Gale Hawthorne, Sophia Ally as Primrose Everdeen and Heddle, Ruth Everett as Mrs. Everdeen, Tamsin Carroll as Effie Trinket, Stavros Demetraki as Caesar Flickerman and Nathan Ives-Moiba as Cinna & Mayor.

Hollywood legend John Malkovich plays President Snow on screen.

Also starring Aiya Agustin as Rue, Keziah Campbell-Golding as Tippet, Lewis Easter as Marvel, Felix Garcia Guyer as Tiberius Maul, Marcellus Hill as Thresh, Jessica Lee as Clove, Mariana Lewis as Glimmer, Felipe Pacheco as Cato, Redmand Rance as Stele, Mark Samaras as Drove, Artemis Stamouli as Fossa and Rory Toms as Fila.

Featuring Geo Bailey, Alexandra Barredo, Imogen Brooke, Jessica Daugirda, Kyerron Dixon-Bassey, Matthew Ives, Kiera Milward, Luca Moscardini and Nathanael Saleh.

The production’s second year cast will begin performances on 20th October 2026, and will be announced in due course.

Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, the new 1,200 seat purpose-built, dynamic theatre-in-the-round venue designed specifically to host this production, is situated right in the heart of London’s vibrant Canary Wharf.

In May and June, Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre also plays host to two very special exhibits in its spacious foyer – a floral installation celebrating the forthcoming release of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, alongside an exhibition of costumes used in connection with the original film.

This spring has seen the official opening of Songbird Restaurant & Bar, situated within the theatre, as a standalone dining destination. It has launched a dedicated à la carte offering for lunch and dinner service for non-theatregoers joining the already popular pre-theatre menu.

Conor McPherson has adapted the first book from Suzanne Collins’ epic series and the first film from Lionsgate’s iconic film franchise for this live theatrical production. The production is helmed by renowned director Matthew Dunster.

THE HUNGER GAMES – ON STAGE is playing Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, London, now booking until 14th February 2027. Tickets for performances from 28th October 2026 go on general sale from 29th May 2026.
