⭐ INTO THE WOODS – WEST END TRANSFER ANNOUNCED ⭐
A West End transfer of the Bridge Theatre revival of INTO THE WOODS has been announced.
Announced at the 2026 Olivier Awards, the critically-acclaimed musical revival, directed by Jordan Fein with set & costume design by Tom Scutt, will transfer to the West End’s Noël Coward Theatre in September 2026.
INTO THE WOODS was the most nominated musical revival of the year at the 2026 Olivier Awards, with 11 nominations, winning two, including Best Musical Revival.
INTO THE WOODS is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s second collaboration, after Sunday in the Park with George, which brilliantly weaves together four Grimms’ fairy-tales in a story of a baker and his wife on their quest to reverse a curse of childlessness cast upon them by the wicked witch.
INTO THE WOODS has music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, with a book by James Lapine.
INTO THE WOODS is currently playing the Bridge Theatre, running until 30th May 2026. Tickets for the West End transfer will go on sale tomorrow.
