The cast for the UK premiere tour of THE KARATE KID – THE MUSICAL has been announced.
THE KARATE KID – THE MUSICAL will star Adrian Pang as Mr Miyagi, Gino Ochello as Daniel LaRusso, Abigail Amin as Ali Mills, Joe Simmons as Johnny Lawrence, Matt Mills as John Kreese, Sharon Sexton as Lucille LaRusso and Finley Oliver as Freddie Fernandez.
Also starring Ambra Caserotti, Johndeep More, Ria Tanaka, Elena Breschi, Aden Dzuda, Elliott Evans, El Haq Latief, Isaac J Lewis, Emily Rose-Davis, Aaron Archer, Dylan Blake-Colbet, Serenar Douch, Esme Rothero and Sok-Ho Trinh.
Written by Robert Mark Kamen, screenwriter of the original 1984 movie, with music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini, THE KARATE KID – THE MUSICAL will open at New Wimbledon Theatre on 28th April 2026, before heading off around the UK.

Bringing the original, now legendary 1984 film to life on stage, this heart-felt coming of age story is reimagined through movement, music, and raw, energetic storytelling. At its heart is the powerful bond between Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Miyagi, who teaches that karate isn’t about fighting, it’s about balance, dignity, and respect.
